Teslyn De Leon is a proud longhorn at The University of Texas at Austin currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Neuroscience with a certificate in Social Entrepreneurship and Non-Profit Work as well as earning a real estate license from Champion's School of Real Estate. At the young age of nineteen years old, she has founded her two-time international award-winning non-profit organization, Culture 4 Caring. She teaches students their responsibility to nurture the environments they will grow in and to make conscious decisions to be kind and create a positive lifestyle. As Miss H-Town Teen USA, Teslyn uses her non-profit as her platform to inspire positive change in future generations. Teslyn hopes to become a neurological pediatrician so that she can change lives for the better. Her passion lies in creating a world of doctors with full hearts to encourage healthcare etiquette reform. Teslyn has received multiple awards and acknowledgments from the National Academy of Future Physicians and Medical Scientists, Key Club International, and honor societies for her studies and dedication to her cause. Although scientifically driven, Teslyn loves to dance - with state and national titles for jazz and lyrical solos and several duets under her belt. Her success in the dance world is only a glimpse into her diverse and fun-loving personality. Don't be too surprised to see her trading her heels and lab coats for cowboy boots! Teslyn can't stray away from her roots of southern hospitality and two-stepping the night away with her closest friends and family.
